I was very disappointed with the "Ike" TUC. The gimmick is not exactly what's shown in the video.
You cannot use the gaff for extreme close-up as the gaff would then become very obvious to
spectators as to what it is. It also "talks" and requires some special handling that a beginner
might find difficult. There was only one trick in the DVD that would work exclusively with the TUC,
and everything else could also be done with less expensive gaff sets. Over-rated & over-priced!
If you write a review please be truthful. The gimmick is exactly as shown in the DVD, as with any shell type coin (though this is way different than any regular shell coin) there is a good side and 'maybe' a bad side. Used correctly this can be put under the nose of a spectator and it will fly by as a normal coin. I don't feel they talk as the Teflon covers this but smart routining would cover any noise you are worried about. There are many tricks on the DVD that only this coin could be used in the manner shown... One last note as I read this many times...it's only obvious to spectators when your skills are not up to par, this means more practice! Under rated and under priced in my book.
Even if some of the tricks on the DVD "could" also be done with less expensive gaff sets, the TUC is so much better!
