I was very weary of getting a Marcus Eddie product because I remember being frustrated with his
segments on Daniel Garcia's Five. I felt like he went over the steps of the tricks very quickly,
often feeling left behind trying to figure out a convoluted movement while he's doing yet another
re-cap of the trick.
This time around, Marcus has slowed down his teaching a bit. I didn't
quite feel left behind while he was going over everything. However, I ran into another problem; the
gimmick fell apart in my hands while I was following along with the explanation. It was easily fixed
but frustrating, nonetheless. I should also point out that the gimmick comes in red only but you
should be able to easily construct it in blue or green or whichever color you use.
My main
problem with the overall handling is this: Marcus Eddie has humongous hands and I don't. The
handling of the trick requires me to stretch and contort my hands in ways that aren't quite as
comfortable or natural for me as they would be for Marcus Eddie.
The method is interesting.
Marcus Eddie has a great personality. He's sly, smooth, and very bold. He's an incredible magician.
His magic just is not for me.
