This routine is simply beautiful and makes people gasp. It requires a lot of practice to make it
seem effortless - if it doesn't look effortless, you're doing yourself (and this routine) a
disservice. I practiced for 2 weeks.
Everyone who has seen me perform this is astounded
when the real rose appears in a flash of fire (you will need flash paper). It really is a magical
routine, simple in its concept, but requires preparation and practiced execution.
I agree
with the other reviewer who says you are limited in how you can move, especially where you can place
yourself, but these limitations can be overcome by building the right gear and right jacket, or if
you don't have those, then simply by operating in a known "secure" space such as a stage, a corner,
or a bar where you are not surrounded. Ends clean.
