Cameron Francis is the man! He teaches you 25 tricks, plus two utility moves. Since I don't have
team to review all of the routines, I'll just explain some of my favorites:
DVD 1
Cagey: This is a REALLY COOL ink transposition between a selected card and a
"Houdini" card. A little hard to explain, but this is killer! Great reactions, too. Note: A standard
gaff is required. 9.5/10
Dime-a-cap: This is a really cool trick. Basically, a pen is
displayed. The cap has scotch tape around it. The magician takes out/borrows a dime/small coin. He
then taps the pen on the dime and it instantly becmes sealed in the scotch tape. Instant reset and
really cool! 8.5/10
Triumph Transpo: A killer trick. Basically a triumph routine with a
clever, logical kicker ending I love this and use this. 10/10
Signed and Assembled: A
pretty neat little trick. 3 signed selected cards vanish and appear in a card case. Gutsy, but I
like this. You have to ruin 3 cards each performance though, but it's pretty much impromptu. 8/10
DVD 2
Bill switch/Cheque this: Cameron teaches the
bill switch and a cool routine you can do with it. Requires a thumb tip, but the switch is very
clean.
Yours and Yours: I feel this routine could have been a little more developed.
However, I like this. It's hard to explain but basically two selected cards fit a description. Not
very logical toward my performing style but I'm working on a variation. 7/10
Separation
Anxiety: A pretty neat packet trick with red and black spot cards. A card is selected from the
packet and then things get magical, with each phase building on the previous one. Teaches a really
cool force. I don't normally like packet tricks, but I'll use this! 9.5/10
DVD 3
Ring Flight: Cameron's transposition take on ring flight is very cool. Basically a
key and a borrowed ring transpose under seemingly impossible conditions. Requires some props, but I
think this is a nice routine. 8/10
Visiting Hour: This is sweet. Cameron's take on Larry
Jennings plot, "The Visitor" requires little table space and is just plain wonderful. With good
presentation, this is a great showpiece. I've used this and I love it! 10/10
So there you
have it. There's something for everyone on this 3 DVD set. This set has really inspired me and has
transformed my repitoire in a very good way. Get This!
