Magic Tricks

The tricks presented in this DVD are all well thought and very motivated, even though the first trick is a bit knacky to pull off, it helps create rapport with your helperand establishes that everyone (including you) is there to have fun, bond and be entertained, two sides to each coin is definitely one of the best coin routines I have seen, it is not simply saying "i will make this coin appear and vanish" but it is telling an excellent story that can be aplied to other effects (such as cards), there is a calculator prediction trick that I had seen before and used, but this time it is amazing how a simple change to the routine makes EVERYONE forget about a possible method and start believing in the weird coincidences that sorround them, watching Francis perform his act is delightful as he teaches the importance of creating tension, motivating his actions and just inside jokes for himself and some audience members that kinda notice them, not only that but he is quite a charming person to watch, and to be honest, his opening effect with cards is amongst my top 3 favorite card routines I have had the pleassure to witness (he once performed that routine at the magic castle and not only is the trick powerful for laypeople, but shows magicians how something so simple can create such a huge impact on the audience), and even if you didn0t like ANY of the tricks, his discussion on being creative (although very brief) is pure gold, he tells you how can you create your own scripts and gives you tips on how to get people more involved in the experience you offer them, I highly recommend this DVD, it has amazing tricks, anawesome act, and great insight on one artistic SOB.
