Don't know the issue with some reviewers with the noise, perhaps they received a faulty one. Had to hold it to my ear to hear it.

Took me about 10 minutes to set up. Works exactly as viewed on the video. Blows people away. Instead of the adhesive they supply I switched to a piece of a band aid. Works great and invisible. Not inexpensive, but for me a great and different type illusion.
