Wow, Oz has come a long way from the "demo kid" of yesteryear.
Clocking in at
three-and-a-half hours, there was something for everybody.(If I knew how much longer he'd run over
the 2 hour advertised time, I would have downloaded for future viewing over two sittings.)
He had a good bit of practical, learned from experience on the job, advice. One example is his
smashing of the adage that "professionals should never work for free." He openly admits that he has
done his share of free or underpaid gigs with a greater goal in mind, to book that high-paying
client. He suggests charity events as one way to get in front of people who can afford to book you.
I took off a star for some occasional crude references that I'm sure he would not have used
in a corporate setting.
I will definitley download this for future reference, when I can
practically apply more of Oz's great advice.
