This has become one of my favorite routines from P. Nardi and friends. The principle here is simple
and deceptive. And it is a bargain at Penguin. This routine hits hard, and it's a lot of bang for
your buck. Some disadvantages for some people since deck can't be examined, though you can flash
the faces around at people. (Who's really trying to look hard at the cards at this point? Keep
talking and direct attention at a couple of spectators. You know, good old misdirection.) The DVD
is excellent with several routines that make this one even more deceptive. Mark Elsdon turns this
into a mentalist routine, an approach that really appeals to me. Great stuff!
