First I want to thank the guys at Penguin for recommend this book to me. Using the live chat
feature I asked for a book of card magic, where I could use a regular deck, and mostly impromptu.
They offered up this book.
While not all the tricks are impromptu, the tricks offered up
here are very well done. The book is highly entertaining to read, and the explanations are clear,
with plenty of pictures to help explain things.
I would recommend this book to anyone who
wants some original ideas in card magic. Some basic knowledge of card sleights and handling will
certainly help, but isn't required.
