The Linkey gimmick is simple genius. It is a
smack-yourself-on-the-forehead-"Why-didn't-I-think-of-that?" kind of invention.
Wait, let
me take a moment and calm down from smacking myself on the forehead...ok...back to the review:
I am not a skilled magician, just a novice. Someone like me will have to practice a bit to get
everything down smooth and for me it will take a few hours. I am not smooth. I am only a hobbiest
and just a part time one at that because of work, time spent with the Lord, and other things.
But for real magicians, even novice magicians, a few minutes with Linkey and it will be an "8"
on a scale of 1-10 as far as audience reaction I think. It's neat and different and very much worth
having and the price is more than fair.
Alan Rorrison is a great teacher and the DVD
captures and holds your attention. He is thorough, sincere, and you can tell He genuinely wants his
creation to work for you and genuinely believes it will...and He is right.
I gave 4 stars
instead of 5 only because it isn't completely examinable if someone with no slight of heand
skill like myself performs it, but for any magician it can easily be made to appear that it has
indeed been fairly and fully examined both before and after that "magic" has happened.
That
being said, I will still work this puppy and have fun doing it! :)
