I like Peter Turner and his thinking, but I felt I got shorted with this lecture. I've been doing
mentalism since I was 8 years old but one of the biggest turnoffs for me is going WAY, WAY, WAY too
deep into theory. It is prevalent at Mindvention conventions. I can see why some magicians say
mentalism is boring, but that's not necessarily true. In this lecture we only got 3 effects in 3
hours? Yikes. I absolutely adore Peter Turner and his thinking behind mentalism, but with this
lecture I feel I didn't get enough. Would've loved to see more effects.
I have also been doing mentalism since age 8. Why do people think that getting a lecture (A LECTURE) is a cheap way to get effects???
If you want effects/methods, buy effects/methods. Although revealing methods is part of a good lecture, a lecture is primarily about theory (in my view). Why waste a lecture on just one trick after another? For me the first 10 minutes alone were worth the price.
The last lecture i purchased was Mark Elsdon 1.This guy seems awesome.I want to git this. There is so many good lectures out there. Are the 3 effects you learn great? This will be my first mentalism lecture. Both of yall seemed to have the best knowledge ????I do have some of Patrick Redfords material.Do i need this?
