I like this illusion for several reasons. First of all, the balloon can be offered to the audience
for full examination. Secondly, this trick is transportable with ease. Thirdly, this effect is
primarily designed for close-up and parlor use (frontal view only), but can be adapted for stage.
Fourth reason is that the trick is inexpensive to perform. My fifth reason is that the routine can
be easily and quickly reset. (This is one routine I would even risk doing a second time to select
audiences.) The only reason I give Halo a 4 star rating is because when used as prescribed, you do
have to be careful of spectators viewing from side angles. It is possible, however, to adapt this
illusion for specific needs, which is one reason I like it so well. Lastly, I like it because the
closing, by popping the balloon, offers a very clean ending which makes this routine an excellent
final act. A simple, yet, puzzling illusion for all ages, especially for birthday and New Year's
parties. I'm very glad I acquired this routine and I think any other magician will be, too.
