Magic Tricks

I can't believe that I ordered this twice. I like the effect and would like to be able to perform it but for me I do not want to invest hours upon hours (if not days upon days) watching the DVD to figure out how to make the gimmick. After watching the DVD the first time I ordered this I must have blocked the horrid experience from my mind and then months later ordered it again because of the fact that it is an ingenious effect by Mathiew Bich. During the gimmick construction segments of the DVD, Mr Kenner keeps repeating the phrase "As you can see...." when in fact you CANNOT SEE due to the fact that he is using a black card on a black mat with very poor lighting and camera angles. The prize for the absolute worst production of an instructional video goes to Mr. Kenner and the team from Theory 11 for this DVD. If I where Mr. Bich I would fire the lot of them and start over. When I first started ordering magic online I purchased a dozen effects (one order) from Theory 11 and was so disappointed in what I received that I vowed to never purchase anything from Theory 11 again. So now I will have to scrutinize my orders from Penguin to assure that I am not buying a product that originated from Theory 11.

This is such a brilliant method and effect it is a shame that it was so poorly produced.

I will return the second order which I will pick up from the post office tomorrow and the first copy (which I watched earlier this evening---only the second viewing since I bought it months ago) will go back into storage until I have the time and the patience to watch the DVD over and over and over and over again just to be able to make the gimmick.
