When I read the description of this trick, some immediate thoughts popped into my head. First of
all, I know a number of OOTW card tricks that use 20 cards (10 of each color) and wondered if the
method employed here is really any more practical or unique as those I know. Daryl's 'Out of this
Hemisphere', J.K. Hartman's 'Hue View' and 'World Class' are very clever and practical methods which
utilizes 20 cards and happen almost entirely in the spectator's hands and I've been using in my walk
around gigs for many years. So, I had to decide if 'Separation Anxiety' is worth my money to plunk
down here and learn yet another method of a small packet OOTW illusion that probably has
similarities? I'll answer with a contemplative and subdued "Yes". It is just a card trick (well
actually it does have 2 parts) but a very good and practical version of performing an OOTW type
illusion. If you don't know any of the aforementioned tricks then it will be a great investment and
it's a trick you will perform many times and happily. If you do know them or any of, you're probably
already in the same quandary as I was. Is this the ultimate replacement 20 card version for me? No,
I'll probably still do Daryl's method most of the time. But Bruce Bernstein's 'Separation Anxiety'
is different enough that I'm not disappointed I purchased it and at times will perform it, simply
for a change in the walk around monotony I sometimes feel. It is a great method and will pack a
punch when performed. I would have given it 5 stars but it is a steep price for a OOTW card trick
when others are available for a fraction of the price and have equal impact on the spectator(s).
