Magic Tricks

I bought this with high expectations and I would have to say for the most part, they made them. The reason that I say that is because the Thing gimmick is amazing and I have no problems with that or the DVD and gimmickless cloth. My problem is that everything else you get is totally useless. The main box is very unbalanced so you have to be beyond careful not to knock it over in mid performance. Along with that, it doesn't fully open, so you don't get that great effect of when the ball appears with a flat opening. The "impromptu" box doesn't have a flat bottom so it falls over more that the normal box. The music that comes with it is mainly meant for illusionist type magicians, so most of the songs wouldn't fit any ordinary magicians' characters. And finally, the poster you get is utterly pointless because for one its folded up instead of rolled so you can't spread it out flat, and two, it is double sided so you can only display one of the two routines. Overall, I think this is totally not worth the price. If you are thinking about buying this you might want to just learn how to make it from his lecture notes, and then just make your own. It would be far more affordable and you wouldn't get stuck with a bunch of useless stuff.
