The video doesn't really lie: what you see is what it looks like to the spectator. The change is
fairly subtle and can be done in so many different ways (though your choices are limited to just
those two cards). The gimmick appears fairly sturdy, and there is an extra card included you can
hand out for examination after you switch it in for the gimmick.
This will require the
right lighting though. I was so interested in this I opened it at my mailbox when I got it. Looking
at it in broad daylight I was so disappointed and thought no one would ever fall for this. When I
got it inside, however, I saw how it could work. A brightly lit room and a close spectator would be
a challenge, but a normal restaurant environment with people a few steps away shouldn't be a
problem. Add the fact that you can hand out a card for examination after you learn the switch and it
will be enough of a convincer to satisfy the biggest skeptic in the group.
