The book as a whole has so much variety. It's really interesting but if you consider yourself a very
focused magician aka " card man" or " coin man " Most of the book will be uninteresting. There are
also some material that have been published elsewhere. the entire Akira Fujii section is part of
the " Coins Akira's " DVD . and part of the Dr. Sawa stuff is published in the L&L tapes of Dr. Sawa
.
Quite a few of the tricks require abit of arts & crafts to make the gaffs or props but I
think worth it to expand your horizons. Some are not very practical such the One-Armed Tibetan
Gambler trick. But with a little thinking you could make it practical. Consider it an exercise in
creativity if anything, to make the impractical practical.
The difficulty in the sleights
required ranges from self-working to quite difficult ( especially the Akira Fujii stuff )
I have performed some of the tricks in the book, namely Jet Coins, Original Card Quake and ET
rope ( a coin , card and rope trick respectively, all with tweaked handlings and presentations to
suit my style) and people really seem to enjoy the material. I couldn't possibly perform all of it
because it is so diverse.
Approach the book with an open mind and you can gain much from
the book.
