I really like the ideas. As he said in the DVD, you should practice it in front of the mirror until
it's like second nature. And that is true with anything really in the performing arts.... How you
do by yourself will always decrease 10-20% when you're actually doing it for other people. I read
another review that said he disliked it because it takes too much practice.... Then why do magic...
in fact, there is no easy way out for such a visual effect like this. I'm not saying it's hard, but
if you want to maximize the link and everything, it will take time.
I learn each phase in a
day or two and I just practice it whenever I can... such as waiting in line, and etc.
It's
a great effect overall! It will take practice, but don't let that stop you. I am a pianist, but I
have not been doing a lot of rubber band magic. I can assure you that it's not too difficult. My
only concern is people who want to get the trick and start performing on the same day.... That will
not work with piece of magic.
If you practice, it will look just like the trailer. It was
completely worth it. For the amount of material you get... $20 is a steal.
Good luck!
I would rate this 9.5/10... since it's not my favorite effect and as with all rubber band
magic... you need some misdirection to "get in position" and that doesn't suit me, but other than
that, it's really great!
Make sure you can do the effect with your eyes closed!
Definitely get this! Support this magician! $20 is wayyyy underpriced for the amount of
ORIGINAL material you get.
