Magic Tricks

I bought this direct from Richard. As a long time fan of Richard's I have to say I was disappointed in this release. Don't get me wrong, the effects taught are all very good, and the interviews and afterthoughts are interesting.

My beef is that nearly everything on these DVD's can be found in Richards earlier work. Yes it may be a different handling or updated, but the effects are same to the layman. This high priced DVD set is being billed as 15 Brand New effects. In reality, if you have his six shooter book, you already own about half the so called new releases on this DVD set. The effects listed below can be found in the Six shooter book that is also available on this site.
* Hands Off
* 3 ESP
* Wanted Dead Or Alive
* Poor Man's Book Test
* Almost Real Prediction
* Perfected Add A Number

There are others that were also listed as being new, that in fact can be found in Richard's earlier books or DVD's. Again, all top knotch effects, but NOTHING NEW here. Really disappointing, Richard is usually a class act, but this is a big let down, especially for the high price.
