First of all I have said this before, is Doc Dixon, a Magician or Comedian, why oh why do some
Magicians make the learning process so much more difficult.
By this I mean distraction and
irrelevant so called comic remarks and jokes in the middle of the lesson, therefore detracting from
the learning process.
Having read the only two reviews, made me buy this trick giving me the
impression that it was extremely easy, maybe for everyone who has a deft handling of cards, and have
more knowledge of the many, many card shifts, and illusions that are on the market.
Sorry Doc
but you lost me less than half way through the lesson, playing to your studio audience, rather than
to the learning process of your magnificent trick.
I got the impression that you even lost your
way verbally because of your own distractions, sorry if that's not the case.
The trick
itself is of course excellent, but for the novice, and elderly (like myself) the two comments do not
give a near truthful reflection of the secret.
For the older magician and those less
professional at card manipulation a few more weeks of learning I'm afraid is necessary.
In spite
of that the trick itself is pure magic at its best, but for the less active a longer learning
process, & that's the truth.
Sorry Penguin Magic (Hope to see this in print for the
absolute beginner and novice)Happy New Year. Oh yes and worth the money of course, not a problem.
