I have a red, slightly thinner version by another manufacturer that I use all the time. Got this as
a backup.
At first I did not like this as the rope can twist and drop an end. I found this
can be a way to have some fun! I start with it loose, twist one end which means about half is stiff
and half is limp. If you are "carefully creative" that opens up some great one-liners to the parents
in the room and with skill it can go right over the heads of the kids.
I will be carrying
both now and make a last minute call as to which I use to suit the audience.
Oh by the way
I have found this rope trick gets the highest rate of spontaneous applause at kids shows. They
rarely say it was their favorite trick (although some do) but they sure go "Ah!" and often clap.
