I was debating on whether or not to get this or 52 shades of red. In the end I chose Shinanigans
because it was based on much more on sleights. This is not a trick you would want to buy if you're a
beginner. Many of the tricks include things like the snap change, card fan, card spring, and palming
so if you have those down, this dvd is great to learn some tricks that will blow people away. Keep
in mind that Shin is not the best teacher and these tricks are not something you can just watch and
go perform right away. This dvd requires you to invest a lot of time. There are over 27 effects that
he teaches including the last trick anarchy, which is an insanely clean deck production however, it
does (like most if not all of Shin Lim's tricks) require you to build the gimmick. which I don't
mind because the building process helps understand it's limits but if you find it troublesome, it is
not for you but don't let that stop you from getting the dvd. This doesn't teach his magic routines
because that was not the intent of Shinanigans. His goal was to get these out there so that you can
incorporate into your routine. The tricks mainly revolves around card productions, and color changes
so if that's your thing, buy this now!
All in all it was a great buy and hope to use these in
my magic routines after mastering (hopefully at least one) them.
