This is a great effect. Visually stunning and boggles the boogers out of laymen. I have done it at
every one if my weekly pub gigs and it never fails to get a great response. It just looks so good!
WHY ONLY 4 STARS YOU MAY ASK?
Everyone's circumstances are different but here are
the limitations you should be aware of from my point if view.
1) I perform for repeat
customers all the time. Often the same people see me every week! Some of them have seen many
effects numerous times but with this trick you are limited currently to the two of hearts. When
spectators see the same card reveal ever time they know somehow you are forcing. If there were
multiple gimmick sets allowing for different outcome I would do this every week. Hopefully they
release other card set options I will buy them and perform this eye candy regularly.. for now bitb
well be seen infrequently. Its a shame because it is already being requested at my gigs by those
who've seen it
2) This effect requires a four card set up in the deck to perform and you
don't end clean. Personally I use this as an opener most times and have no difficulty palming off
the gimmick and pocketing it at the end. I usually don't like carrying card gimmicks but the impact
in this case is worth it.
3) The video shows allowing the spectator to mark the card. I
don't want to tip the method but I warn you... do this at your own risk....it can ruin the gimmick!
I have my own story line and ostensibly mark the card myself without looking. Its safer, gets great
laughs as I randomly stab away at the card like a moron, and really loses no impact from my point of
view.
If visual card magic is your cup of tea you should get this one its one of the best
IMO.
