For those of you who have Dan Harlan's Speakeasy DVD the Blindfoil method is a good setup to the
Speakeasy.
If someone suspects you are seeing through the blindfold simply turn your back
and switch to the Speakeasy method.
The spectators will think you are doing the same
trick, which is the finger reveal as seen in the Blinfoil and Speakeasy sales pitch video, but the
spectators will not realize you are using two different methods.
The speakeasy method will
rule out the suspicion that you are seeing through the blindfold, which is what you want.
If you are wondering why not use the Speakeasy from beginning to end. The reason is in the first
phase of the trick your confederate is obviously out of the picture. For instance not in the room.
The blindfoil trick is worth it.
