This is a costume jacket that by itself would run you almost the cost of this package. The straps
aren't the strongest--one of mine split apart when i was working on them as described in the video,
but a little glue will take care of that. Here's what I think: if you've never been in or tried to
escape from a straight jacket before, get this. Dan Harlan shows you how to work with the jacket,
and gives great tips for drama and show for the escape. It will take some practice. For the price,
there is no better entry-level product you can get to try it on and see if this is really what you
want to add to your set. I had a discussion with a peer who does escapes. He says he's seen
better, and so have I, but I think this is the route you need to take if you want to get started in
jacket escapes. All I can think is that I COULD have spent significantly more on a fancy
high-dollar jacket and tried to figure it out before giving up and never using it. Dan Harlan's
video walks you through the process. What I'll be doing is adding this to my set with THIS jacket
for a year or so, and then maybe after I wear it out, I'll get another one just like this (with
better leather straps).
