This is a great trick (and a very, very, very clever principle that will go totally undetected by the spectators) for any performer, especially for those magicians who perform single tricks on the street. However it is not as suitable for restaurant magic and/or parlour as one might think - However it will work there as well with a little bit of prep. Good job Dan!
