This is a very well-made item. Not sure I'd call it a trick in and of itself, as it doesn't make
much sense to carry around an Oreo® cookie or two in one's pocket. But as part of a routine, and
when loaded pre-performance into a bag of cookies, it's strong and it's fun. And for as simple as
it is to do, (you'll be doing the basic move within seconds of picking it up for the first time),
it's a pretty baffling thing for laypeople to witness.
I kept one item as-is and modified
another to suit how I wanted it to look and work during performance, (Bizzaro briefly discusses that
n the video you get access to). I would suggest some work in the mirror for pantomiming licking the
filling out, as that may take some practice to get the look of it to be genuine and to handle any
angle work you may need).
The "cookies" (you get two) are very well made and they look and feel
very much like real chocolate sandwich cookies. Mine were each a slightly different color than the
other. I bought two sets of these and they both came that way. I think that's by design. Because
if you by a "knock-off" or store brand that is similar to, but not actually Oreos®, the color of the
cookie may be slightly different. The difference in color in my cookies, (one is black, the other
a very dark brown), is so slight that no one will notice if you use them both together. But in
having that option, it gives two benefits: you can either match the cookie color to those of the
actual cookies you've bought to perform with...or you can use one slightly different from the real
cookies to allow yourself through ability to immediately know which one is your gimmick among the
real cookies in the bag.
Maybe that's just a coincidence, because it's not ever mentioned; but
knowing the care Bizzaro puts in creating his props, I would suspect it's completely by design. It
may seem pricey for what you get, but this is a quality-made item that will serve you well for
years to come.
