When I read that this was made of vinyl, I was expecting a softer, mor pliable thumb tip. However, this is hard. Harder than the Vernet soft thumb tip, but with the same load capacity and tapered entrance for comfort. You get all the benefits of the harder thumb tips, but with a more comfortable and more spacious fit/load typical of the Vernet soft. Low friction and slick interior - just as good for bill switches as the classic Vernet. Best of both worlds? Quite possibly.
