Magic Tricks

As close to a self-working trick as I've seen that is still an awesome effect. Very clever! As soon as you pull out the gimmicks (deck and diary), you realize exactly how to do the trick. The DVD gives plenty of great tips on preparing the deck and the diary to make it look as clean as possible to spectators. Once you set it up, it's good to go forever. I like making a spectator feel really special by saying this trick will only work for one special person--the one whose birthday matches up with the one red-backed card in the deck. What are the odds it would be you? Then they find their page in the diary, and of course theirs is the one red-backed card. Works great in a crowd where the spectators get to choose amongst themselves who they think will have the best chance, then they all cheer for the person when he/she wins. Thanks Mark & Penguin!
