I think this has lots of stage or Television work potential or little parties at home.

It really is clean looking. Comes with many ways for participants to confirm that there is "nothing funny" about the DVDs. They can check them out before and after the effect and still find nothing.

I would have the participants act out or read a scene containing the dialogue from the DVD scene that will eventually be chosen. It would be great as a sort of story about something your "father used to always say." Then everyone sees that it came from this DVD.

Participant actually gets to take the remote and select whatever scene they want and it always works. You could even leave the room. They don't have to tell you what scene or DVD they are selecting.
