Working with ITR is nerve racking. Paying $60 for one is ok if you use it a lot. It still breaks but is not that hard to reset. If you are starting out get Thread Genie for $10 each. If it snaps no big deal. Once you learn the fine art of using it get the ITR Reel (BOSS SIZE) with Vectra thread.
Hard to see much stronger & easier to fix.
