As you might suspect this deck is a one trick pony and you will need to bring it in as a cooler.
However, do not be deterred! It is a clever application of two old principles that allow you to
apparently show the deck to be normal. Murakami provides about 20 forces you can use, including
letting the spectator shuffle and cut the deck. The video is in Japanese but the English subtitles
are clear and he is very thorough in explaining every detail. Murakami suggests marking certain
cards with a pencil dot but I think scratching a white line diagonally through a corner of the back
border is much less visible to spectators but easier for my eyes to see in dim light. If you need a
prediction trick that will leave the spectators(and most magicians)scratching their heads in
disbelief, consider the Kyoto Deck, especially after you have shown several card tricks with an
unprepared deck.
