Although I've bought hundreds of items from Penguin, my friend Bazz, the author, shared this with me
before its release. I was astounded when I read this, as I didn't know he was creating something on
this level. Any mentalist doing word revelations NEEDS to read this, and some of the works it
references (Michael Murray and others), to elevate their audience's amazement to a level of personal
connection, deep impact and total astonishment. Not an effect, but an approach to be used by those
with a bit of experience in obtaining the word that a spectator is merely thinking of. With these
ideas in your toolkit, you can feel free to expand on the impact of your revelations in many
different directions. I used this in two performances within weeks of reading it, and it raised the
ante on both of them. And it's fun. :)
