Very sturdy and looks normal and exactly as it should. No one will notice anything suspicious about the appearance. Angles are good except from the very back when the prop is resting on the table, and possibly from the far left side while it is in use. Durable, strong plastic structure with a thin matte finish outer covering (not sure what the material is for the outer layer - plastic coated paper?) Very simple design. No moving parts to loose or break. It's exactly what you are probably thinking it is, except surprisingly well made. You could make something like this yourself, but it's doubtful that you could achieve the same quality without considerable time and effort. You are paying for a prop that is made to last. Written instructions are short, concise, and well illustrated, but a video going into the handling would have been nice, since it does require a bit of finesse that you will have to work out on your own. A little bit tricky to get the handling smooth (keeping the cards controlled so that they're not shifting and sliding during the move) but not knuckle busting by any means. Interestingly, it is just large enough that it will accommodate a boxed deck, so, for instance, you could use a red vodka gimmick to switch a blue box of cards for a different blue box of cards in the act of putting away the red "deck." That handling is even easier to do.
