Magic Tricks

I’d like to start by saying that overall, this was a great download! Being able to have a solid piece of mentalism that you can carry around in your pocket and perform at any time is awesome. Not only is this mentalism, but this is a real crowd pleaser! It gets people involved and letting them flip the coin is really cool. The fact that this works every single time is great, however, this does not mean that you do not have to do anything. To get the full effect there is a little bit of memorization. It may seem trivial but this is vital to get the full effect. You will want to practice this many times so that you do not blank when performing. I recommend practicing for a solid ten to fifteen minutes straight so you can do all the little moves naturally. There are not a lot of different outcomes but you will still want to practice so you have gone over any possible situation. Rick does a great job of explaining every detail and even gives us many examples from the performers point of view. For me personally, this is not an opener. Just due to the nature of the trick, I would like to have already established myself as a magician before performing this effect. This does not take anything away from the trick, just a personal preference. The only downside I found to this download was that Rick did not talk much about one of the possible endings. He did not go over the handling of one of the reveal envelopes. It is not a huge deal because after one minute of thinking I came up with the solution to handling the envelope so I always know how it is oriented. Again, I’d like to reiterate, this was a great download! Rick is a great teacher, thinker, and creator and I will continue to support him!
