It's difficult to explain what is lacking in this effect without spoilers. Overall it's a solid
effect, and the handling is fairly easy. The problem is that the way it is taught [edited to
protect secret], I'm unable to locate ANYTHING in the presentation that explains what to do (that
wouldn't be OBVIOUSLY looking for the named card). I'm sure that Rafael Benatar has a way to handle
this, but without an explanation it leaves you with a 50% chance of failing, or at least taking away
from the "magic" of the effect. There is a nice explanation of a very usable sleight, with
variations.
Please read my response posted in the "Discuss" section as "Rafael answers to all of the above). Everything is covered. Maybe I said "if you get lucky" and yes, if you get lucky is slightly better. If you don't get lucky, it might take you an extra second or two to find the card. No big deal. You'd discover this easily by yourself if you actually perform it. Thanks for posting.
