These are junk. I am highly disappointed. They say genuine playing cards.
They do Not say u.s.
Playing card company. I sent an email about it to penguin magic and they said they would refund me
if I paid to ship them back. I paid $6 to ship something that cost them $2 to ship. Then I would
have to ship it back. Having $8 in them and they would have the labels back. So I took a $20 loss
but still have the labels if I can ever find a use. Maybe some spectators wouldn't notice but I
notice and so would another magician. Total waste of money and disappointment with penguin magic.
The first thing to shake is the desire to get these labels past another magician in the first place. When we are working performers, it isn't magicians we have to fool, and it isn't magicians that are paying us to perform. That said, I've gotten these by magicians on several occasions anyway. Never run when not being chased.
I've been using these seals in my pro work for years, and there has never, ever been an issue. Combined with a Wonder Sealer, this provides the perfect illusion of a brand new deck, for audiences, every single time.
