Most magicians will probably over look this effect because of how simple it is.

The teaching is straightforward. This effect is very easy
to perform.

I would only perform this effect in an impromptu situation.
Someone ask to see something, you borrow a penny and perform the effect.

The only con is the angles ((Though that is easily managed by asking everyone to gather together for the picture))
