So... Every once in awhile you receive a piece of magic that you know... you just know... is going
to be something you can use.
This is one of those.
I watched the video demo and I just knew
in my gut that if this method were manageable then this piece would be completely practical, and it
would become a regular part of my performances.
I was not disappointed.
Ryan has delivered
a new application for an old principle that elevates a simple betcha to pure performance gold.
I
was familiar with the secret, and I put it to use with his routine the night I got it. Even if I had
not been previously exposed to this I would still have been able to use it.
It really is that
simple, and Ryan provides you with a full performance that you can use (although you will probably
put your own spin on it immediately... did I mention that it's simple?).
I tested this in a
restaurant, a bar, and from a distance. It worked every time. Once you know how there is NO
guesswork.
Ryan also provides a presentation for when you're working in what you think would
not be an ideal environment.
The video is short, sweet, and to the point.
There is a
section for an actual performance, an explanation, a bit of a History lesson, and an additional way
to perform this.
This is a practical piece.
If you are looking for a way to perform an easy
for the Spectator to follow prediction effect, that involves multiple Spectators, a double payoff,
and relatable items this is it.
It's also a nifty bar bet if you are not feeling like
performing.
I don't think this is practical for use in a bar, because of the typical noisy environment. Unless, of course, you have bionic hearing.
