@majish, I think he means, and I will try to say this without giving anything away, that this could also be used for money effects, or the method is interchangeable and is appealing to those who work with money magic.
Having a Virginia ID with a clear window in it make this trick not workable for me. Now my question is: Could I use a credit card instead?
@barbibulle you can as long as it's solid 100% and you are using 2 identical sized credit cards.
