First of all this is not a book. This is a tiny pamphlet with 9 effects that are ALL either completely transparent, pathetically anticlimactic, or unwieldy and therefore unusable.

I love prop-less mentalism, and I love to be able to perform things at the drop of a hat or in conversation. But sadly I found nothing in this little brochure that is worth using.

Maybe someone out there could make it work, but I really don't think that I can or want to.

You know how in books the author describes the effect, and you are blown away by how impossible it is? And then they reveal the method and its exciting. With this book, the description of the effect alone was enough to give away the method.

I read the description of "62 pence", and "All change" out loud to my twelve year old brother, who has no background in magic or mentalism and he promptly said "Well that's dumb" and proceeded to explain the method perfectly.

Save your money.

I wish I had read your review before purchasing the PDF. Yikes! $26 for a download that seems to be (almost) entirely effects that Elsdon found in other places and simply repackages here. To Elsdon's credit, he gives credit to his sources.
