Truth? ILLEGAL doesn't need a review. What you see is simply what you get & it's simply good... For
that quick to the point surprise it's great... All I'd suggest, respectfully, is that the trick is
so easy to do, don't overplay it or yourself.
Some might jeer thinking 'but I can't hand
out the same bill'. Geez, if you work play and enjoy what you do all us close up guys -and gals-
will have a zillion ways to overcome. A bit of the original thinking takes over and things usually
go from good to great.
Heck, it's a small price for a solid fun piece, that's simple to
throw together, easy to remember that will be with you forever.
One thing needs
mentioning. Steve Dusheck did what appeared to be exactly the same trick in the early 80's without
the bill change ending. I saw him do it again at a large classic upstate N.Y Convention... I'm not
saying ones ripping another, just giving credit to one of the best original creators of our time!
