I've been paying with these cards for a couple weeks now and ready to give my honest review on them.
Box Quality - 2
Kinda Crappy, Quality of that of a cheap $0.38 deck of cards from a
dollar store.
Card quality - 8
Fantastic feel, a soft plastic stock, hard to damage.
Fanning ability - 3
One of the selling points on these cards is the fact you
do not need to use fanning powder... If you get these, you may need to rethink this. They fan like a
a cheap deck of cardboard.
Card pliability - 9
The cards are very soft and flexible,
but not 2 flexible. It has a nice resistance to it, that allows them to be easily worked with. The
nice thing about them, is when held in back palm then produced, due to the stock of the card, the
cards spring back to normal very nicely.
Easy to work with - 7
Unlike other jumbo
cards, these behave a lot better when executing manipulation moves. They are fantastic to produce
via perfect production, and can be back palmed with some discretion. I would of given this a higher
score, if fanning was easier.
back design - 7
The back is a hard black with a
little bit of shine (As plastic dose) It is simple and in a way elegant that compliments the cards
and the performance. Also the design allows for a lot of camouflage so even in the event where the
cards fall a little below the hand, they blend in enough to be hard to see. Down side, sometimes
they can blend in to well.
Card colors - 9
This is the highest score I give, because
the colors are vivid and compliment them very well. They add an amazing POP! of color and character
to any manipulation routine.
There is not much in teaching that is available for this
product, but playing around with them can help a lot, when coming up with materiel and moves. My
recommendation is to go through some basic card manipulation books and videos, and try to transpose
as much as you can into jumbo cards. Then see what works best, and what doesn't. This will help out
immensely.
I hope this review helps. =)
