I realize that this effect is limited to someone's living room using their DVD and TV or on stage,
so it's not going to be a big seller. But under $9? My gosh, if the price were ten times that, it
would be well worth it. You get six specially mastered DVDs that look for all the world like a box
set of Bonanza episodes from the cut-out bin at WalMart. And with a little understanding of how the
DVDs and the player that you are using work, you can pull off a minor miracle. (I like the previous
reviewer's idea of having members of the audience act out the scene before it's selected. That's
dynamite and could be very entertaining.)
I also don't mind that it's Bonanza. The
logical explanation for the audience is, "It's in the public domain, folks, which means I'm cheap
and don't have to pay the producers of Bonanza any royalties."
Anyway, don't let the lack
of reviews and low price scare you away. This isn't a failure. It's brilliant if you understand
that you can't walk around with it.
