Dan Harlan is such an amiable, non-assuming nice guy--with an infectious laugh--that he makes this
stuff seem really easy, like he's hardly even trying. But behind that veneer, he's one of the best.
He has a great mind for technique, subtlety, and nuance, one that can even improve upon the great
Tarbell canon. The two Tarbell 52 lectures are incredible values for someone just starting out in
mentalism. Where are you going to get just south of nine hours of material for about $40? And
there are some nice ideas for more experienced folks too.
There are so many excellent
beginner/fundamental videos for mentalists that it is hard to know where to begin. But you can't go
wrong with reliable Dan, who personifies the platinum standard for creativity and instruction and
has a great sense of humor too. These lectures should be Penguin best sellers for sure.
