This trick is a mind blower! With the Rick Lax presentation, the spectator sees a round hole from
both sides. Next the hole instantly, while in complete view changes from round to square, then
changes back and forth by simply turning the card over. The trick ends with them seeing a round
hole on front and back again. There are no difficult sleights or moves at any time during the
routine so this trick is Ideal for beginners and seasoned magicians alike, the reactions are BIG. I
am a hobbyist, I use this trick in a classroom setting and all of my clients have loved it.
I can't give this trick a 5 for three reasons. 1) The gimmick is ingenious but very fragile. 2)
You can't perform it anywhere, it requires specific conditions. 3) The card is not examinable.
Despite these limitations I highly recommend this trick.
