I love Peter. I really do. I could watch him perform all day long. He can not teach an effect to
save his life. He goes on so many tangents that I have no clue how to preform most of the tricks on
here. These are no longer live, if it was in sure people would have asked so many questions on how
the hell he does it. I'm not even sure he explained all the tricks he did.
I guess it's my
fault, this is the 5-6 thing I've bought from him, and he never does an amazing job teaching his
work. Even in the pdf, he doesn't explain how to do ACAAN that well. Like I said, he's an amazing
performer and creator, as far as teaching I learned maybe 3 tricks from this. And half learned all
the other ones. The three I did learn I would never use as they aren't that good.
I couldn't agree with you more. I have the PDF with Fate CAN, and while it's better than his almost-nonsensical explanation during the lecture, it's still not great. I will give him credit that he's a much better writer than live teacher when it comes to explaining things, but he's not even close to master teachers like Osterlind, Cassidy, Jermay, Paul, Nardi, Spelmann, etc.
Peter can be very confusing at times but it's mostly because he has so many ideas and keeps on thinking of other things to share while talking. I would recommed maybe buying a few of his e-books in his monthly series (they can be found here on penguin). I would especially recommend his Psychological Playing Card Forces e-book. In his writing he doesn't get off topic (because he can go back and edit it) and in my opinion explains even more than he does on video (but as opposed to the videos he spends longer on each subject). They're $30 each but I beleive all of them are around 50-80 pages long full of information. I read the Playing Card Forces e-book and it really helped me with how he does his Jazzing. Hope this helps!
