Masterpiece of mentalism Report this review

Each spectator writes anything on a card, seals the card in an envelope, and throws the card at the mentalist. One spectator gathers up a few envelopes, freely selects one (no forces here), and the card inside matches a prediction that has been sitting in a wine glass (no Ostin clip here) untouched on stage. Unbelievable? Yep. And then there's an added kicker that you can use to make it even more startling.

Is it easy to perform? Yep. (When I originally saw this, I was like, "Geez, that's some good sleight of hand because there's not a Shaxon envelope in sight." Man, was I wrong. Watch the video closely, and you will see that there is really no sleight and nothing to the method.) It will take you about five minutes and next to nothing to make the gimmick. From there, it's up to you and your showmanship. This is an extremely effective closer because it looks impossible. The routining completely covers everything so even if a smart spectator has an inkling that you are using a ******, his theory will be crushed in the end.

If you do stage mentalism, you owe it to yourself to see this. Highest recommendation!
