In the ad the cards look old and authentic. The actual deck looks make-believe -- they're glossy, the colors aren't that believable. They're also hard to read quickly. I was expecting cards that look like the Gypsy's Curse cards, which I think are pretty real looking. These are nowhere near as antique in appearance.
