Buddha stainless steel. Good weight, no tarnishing or chipping
but not the most luxurious. However an explanation as a
utilitarian "pill box" or similar fits. The link goes to
the deluxe set.

As a starter there is little to beat the Tango OB at 20 bucks. However, if you want a "coin box for life" take a look at the Opongo Box by Juan Luis Rubiales. At $70 this may seem expensive but you will never need another coin box. It is an OB, a Boston, a German a Slot plus a special valuable feature not found on any other box to my knowledge. It will even take a Kennedy Half shell and an old English Penny so the possibilities are endless. It also comes with a DVD with 5 very strong routines. I bought one over a year ago and it is now my go to coin box for every coin box routine or effect.
I second the Opongo Box by Juan Luis Rubiales. I have the tango and the Keuppers--which are both great, but the utility of the Opongo box is broader and it's now my go-to coin box.
